Volunteer
A big part of what makes Folk Fest so enjoyable for attendees every year and contributes to its success is the generosity of those who are willing to give a little of their time over the weekend. Every year we rely on our volunteers to help staff the ticket gate and merchandise tent and quite simply, we just couldn’t do it without them.
We also know that between the cost of admission, park entrance and camping fees, gas, food, and all the other incidentals, the weekend can be a little spendy for some. Because of that, we encourage you to think and plan ahead to help spread out the cost a bit. We don’t want the cost of admission to be a deterrent for anyone who wishes to attend Folk Fest, and so we offer an opportunity for you to earn a bit of a discount on your tickets. Those who are willing to volunteer for a two hour shift can earn a $10.00 discount on the cost of your ticket. Anyone who has helped in the past knows that working your shift certainly doesn’t mean you’re missing out on any of the great entertainment happening on the main stage, you simply have a different “perspective” from which to take it in while giving a little back to the festival, and provides an opportunity to make some new friends while working your shift.
